About the Project / Scheme

Like Infrastructure of Rural Area (P.H.Cs & Sub. Centers ) in the District a large No. of Urban Centers in the Urban Areas of the Districts / Municipal Corporations are being sanctioned in phase manner under these scheme in the State of Maharashatra. More stress is being given on the slam area. There are 81 Urban Family Welfare Centers. The type wise No. of U. F.W.Cs. I - 21, II-10, & III - 52. are sanctioned in the State. The type of the Center is based on Population and staff is sanctioned according to type and as per the Government of India's guidelines and norms. This Centers delivers the Family Welfare, Maternal Child Health, Reproductive Health Care Services to the Urban People.
