Objectives
Sexually Transmitted Diseases increase the chance of HIV infection by 6% to 10% and therefore the following are the objectives :-

The Table on the following page will indicate how the STD cases detected in Govt. Hospitals declined in ex-Mumbai. |

In Mumbai, by up scaling the STI clinics to about 6 times more than the number in year 2000, more coverage of STI patients was possible. |
